Built from 1396 to 1400 at the instigation of the Cologne archbishop Friedrich III from Saarwerden, the Kurkölnische Landesburg (changed to a palace by adding large windows in 1634) constitutes with its three towers in a park with large, old Spanish chestnut trees one of the city's landmarks.

This post mill is located in the village of Tönisberg. It was built in 1802 and is situated on an elevation in front of the village Tönisberg.
