Nettetal-Hinsbeck - Artists' village and health resort

Hinsbeck offers countryside and nature for tourist excursions.
- 1978 and 1981 Hinsbeck received the medal in the competition 'Our village is to become more beautiful'.
- 1993 Hinsbeck was awarded with the title 'Erholungsort' (health resort).

The small castle House Bey houses the same-named restaurant. The Golfclub Haus Bey is located nearby.

Hinsbeck is a state approved health resort and inside the flat Lower Rhenish landscape known as 'Bergdorf' (mountain village) and 'Hinsbecker Schweiz'. Its urban form is characterised mainly by its location on the slope of Hinsbecker Heights as these dominate the landscape. Situated on the slope, the Catholic parish churchSt. Peter dominates the cityscape. Hinsbeck is situated at the nature reserve Maas-Schwalm-Nette two to three kilometres from the Krickenbecker Lakes, near the German-Dutch border atVenlo (NL).
