The castle festivals of Neersen has been taken place for 30 years around the castle in the city of festivals of Willich.

From the humble beginnings in 1984 the festivals evolved into an event attracting annually about 20.000 spectators to the castle Neersen.

Also the surroundings of the castle and the attractive park are nowadays part of the festival.

Outdoor theatre, under the stars, to perform at the Lower Rhine- not in Northern Italy with the weather stability of Verona - leaves many people looking fearfully at the sky.

Surely also again this summer...
